Vivo X300 Max Appears At MWC 2026 With Dimensity 9500 And 7,000mAh Battery

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026, vivo quietly showcased a previously unannounced smartphone, the vivo X300 Max, surprising visitors and generating interest within the mobile industry. Although the device had appeared in earlier rumors, the company had not officially revealed or confirmed its existence prior to the event. Its discreet appearance suggests it may become a new high-performance flagship within the X300 lineup.

The device was identified by technology journalist Roland Quandt under the model number V258A. This identifier appears related to another model number, V2548A, which had previously surfaced in 3C certification records. At the exhibition, the X300 Max was displayed near the X300 Ultra and accompanied by partial information about its specifications. Among the confirmed details was the use of MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 processor, indicating a focus on high-end performance.

Images shared by vivo executive Han Bo Xiao offered an early glimpse of the phone’s design. Although the photos did not fully reveal the device, they showed a premium finish and a large circular camera module positioned at the top center of the back panel. The module is expected to house a triple-camera system, though specific details about the lenses or sensors were not disclosed.

Rumored specifications suggest the X300 Max will feature a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with 1440p resolution. Another notable feature is a large 7,000 mAh battery, which would place the device among smartphones with exceptional battery capacity. Combined with the high-performance chipset, this configuration suggests that the X300 Max may prioritize long battery life without compromising speed or power.

Within the X300 series, the Max variant is expected to occupy a different position from the X300 Ultra. While the Ultra model reportedly focuses heavily on photography capabilities, the X300 Max may aim for a more balanced approach, emphasizing strong performance, extended battery life, and versatile camera functionality.
