Asus’s New ROG Flow Z13 KJP Edition Blends High-End Gaming With Kojima Design

Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced a collaboration with Kojima Productions, unveiling a limited-edition lineup of gaming hardware inspired by the studio’s distinctive visual identity. The partnership is headlined by the ROG Flow Z13 KJP Edition, accompanied by several themed peripherals, including a headset, mouse, and mouse mat. The products reflect a fusion of Asus ROG’s gaming-focused engineering and Kojima Productions’ design philosophy.

The ROG Flow Z13 KJP Edition is a specially crafted variant of Asus’s small gaming tablet-laptop hybrid. Yoji Shinkawa, a well-known artist closely linked to Kojima Productions, designed its visual aesthetic. With themes based on spacesuits and astronaut aesthetics, the device is inspired by Ludens, a symbolic figure that stands for creativity and exploration. In terms of appearance, the gadget has an aluminum chassis with angular cutouts and bold typography that highlight an industrial and futuristic design language. To further support its collector-oriented positioning, the KJP Edition also comes with a designated carrying case, personalized packaging, and a specially made power adapter.

Regarding hardware, the AMD Ryzen AI Max processor and Radeon 8060S graphics power the ROG Flow Z13 KJP Edition. It can support up to 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe solid-state storage and up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 quad-channel onboard memory. With a refresh rate of 180 Hz, a response time of 3 ms, and a maximum brightness of 500 nits, the device boasts a 13.4-inch 16:10 WQXGA display. Dolby Atmos audio support and AI-based noise cancellation are two more features that set the device up for multimedia and gaming use.

In addition to the Flow Z13, Asus unveiled a number of accessories with Kojima Productions themes. A 3.5 mm wired connection, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C 2.4 GHz wireless, and 50 mm titanium-plated diaphragm drivers are among the connectivity options supported by the ROG Delta II-KJP headset. Additionally, the ROG Keris II Origin-KJP mouse and the ROG Scabbard II XXL-KJP mouse mat are part of the lineup; both are made to complement the Ludens-inspired style.
